Las Rozas Innova offers businesses a free and personalized program to help them in their digital transformation. The first 70 selected for the program already have “their sherpa”: a guide with whom they hold individual work sessions adapted to their needs and knowledge. The “sherpas” conduct an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of the business and guide it to advance in the digitization of its operation, as well as the services and products they provide to customers.

The City Council of Las Rozas, through Las Rozas Innova, launches its strategy of Public Procurement of Innovation: a tool to enhance public-private collaboration in solving the challenges of the city, to encourage companies to be more competitive and to get them involved in solving the needs of citizens. The Municipal Innovation Company will represent the city in the institution, gateway to British companies and entities. This year, Las Rozas Innova begins a project in the United Kingdom to identify and attract investors in order to attract companies from the Anglo-Saxon country, the main European investor in our country, to Las Rozas. The Municipal Company has a Positioning Plan to attract talent and investment to the municipality and strengthen its business and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The team formed by Victor Gardrinier and Wouter Draijer, two young people from Holland and France, won the international competition for entrepreneurs, organized by Las Rozas Innova and Alastria, to find solutions for Las Rozas based on blockchain technology. SolarMente allows sharing the surplus of clean energy among the neighbors of a community, saving up to 50% of the electricity bill and reducing the carbon footprint. The second prize went to GoGreen by Phillipe Engels and Bruno Peral. There was also a special mention for Vestigia Blockchain by José Manuel Avelino.
