Downtown businesses will sell their food and drink through the vehicle that will travel the street without a driver. Calle Real will be the first place to see the Goggo Cart, the first autonomous food truck to land in Spain, after China and Switzerland, thanks to Goggo Network, the driverless transport company founded by Martin Varsavsky and Yasmine Fage. The vehicle will move around the city center starting this November and will allow downtown merchants to sell their food and drink in a simple and innovative way, as part of a pilot project, which will last approximately two months, born from the collaboration between Goggo Network and Las Rozas Innova, the Municipal Innovation Company, to attract innovative and sustainable solutions to the city. The Goggo Cart vehicle is provisioned at a center where it collects food, which is deposited in its respective compartments. The vehicle then follows a route established in a fully autonomous way, with several predetermined stopping points and which have been studied through a real mapping already performed on the real street in October. Through a mobile application, users will be able to know at all times the location of the vehicle and the products it holds.
